Wishing for Spring – making it happen!
I live in North Carolina – where it’s known for mild winters. It has not snowed much here this winter, but it has been cold and rainy for far too long. I am wishing spring happens soon!
In the meantime I created a little version of springtime for my bathroom.
Here are some inexpensive materials I found at Garden Ridge – only $10 total!

And voila – spring has sprung!

Not only did it cost just a few dollars – it only took me 10 minutes to arrange it! Enjoy!

Ooh, I need a bucket full of Spring. That is a great idea and it lasts and lasts.
Stopping by from SITS…love that little bucket of spring. I live in Washington state and my tulip bulbs and daffodils are all coming up and blooming right now. It has been really mild here.
Have a great weekend! Stop by if you get a chance and say hi.
Fun right!
Really – you are not covered in snow? It is still cold here in NC – when it should be warm by now! Thanks for the comment – I’ll be sure to stop by your blog!
That looks so pretty! And I’m DYING for spring. Thanks for the great idea!
Oh, a good dose of Spring would be so nice! Have a fantastic Sunday & thanks for stopping by my blog
Such an amazing outcome! I’ve always struggled with arrangements, hopefully this will help!
Love the fresh springtime look! And the danishes from the other day look deeelish.
Stopping by from the Lady Blogger’s Tea Party
Thanks for stopping by – I will be sure to check out your site!
Thanks for stopping by – wasn’t the tea party a good idea?
Lovely! Can you believe it’s snowing again?!
Thanks for visiting Willow Bird Baking! Whereabouts in Charlotte are you? I’m in the Northlake Mall area.
We are from RI – but I am not happy with snow here in March! We are in the Marvin/Waxhaw area. It is great to see so many foodies with blogs here in our area that I found on Food Buzz! I suscribed to your feed, so I will be sure to stop back!
I NEED Spring too. I am in CO and still have snow on the ground-yuck. I love the arrangement. Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving such kind comments. I really appreciate it. As for your table, I would think sand, paint, poly. I didn’t poly mine because I wasn’t sure I wanted to keep it white and I didn’t want to have to sand through the poly if I changed my mind. Here I am a year later with the white table wishing I would have polyed it
Thanks for the response about my table! I love the white on yours – it is so pretty. I have never done any type of project like this – I will be sure to tell you how it goes!
