We had one of those external hard drive thingies after our last computer died so we could access the info. from the hard drive and about 3 weeks ago my daughter knocked it off the desk while it was on.  All the data gone!  My husband was not a happy man.  We had gotten all the data we wanted off of it luckily.  My bro-in-law recommended Carbonite to back everything up.</description>
