Par-Stock Pantry List

As promised – here is my

Par-Stock Pantry List!

 Pantry Items

After college I worked on Motor Yacht Hallelujah as a stewardess.  It was an amazing time in the Caribbean and even crossing the Atlantic Ocean to Europe!  I thought I was there to travel and have fun, but I am still amazed at how much I learned on the Yacht.  Even how to tie some good sailor knots!

To get ready for guests we didn’t go grocery shopping – we went provisioning!  It was an all day event.  The Chef had the provision list – based on her par-stock (the minimum amount we needed).  After hauling it all back to the yacht we spent hours unpacking it – I mean even taking cereal bags out of boxes to save room.  But the concept was since she kept a par-stock panty list, she would mark off what was getting low and be sure to get it when we went shopping.  That way when we were out on the sea, we had everything we needed for a gourmet meal!

Here’s a look at my list:

You can take this list – put it into Excel and add to it – then print it out with lines and put check marks when you are getting low,  and keep up your own well stocked pantry!  These are mostly dry panty items, but I will also add a fridge list and household cleaning list as well.
